Barry Evans is a trained actor living in Manchester, England and a full member of Equity and Spotlight.
Born, raised and pondered in Warrington, Barry early on knew his career path and at 19 emmigrated way up North to the East Coast beauty that is Scarborough to train at the School of Creative Arts. Under the guidance and direction of Paul Elsam and alongside the Stephen Joseph Theatre and Sir Alan Ayckbourn, Barry trained to become a versatile character actor.
While training he appeared as the lead in a new play at the SJT called Pinocchio.co.uk and at the Westwood Theatre In-The-Round in Attempts On Her Life, A Christmas Carol, Ashgirl, The Tempest, Time of My Life and Grease.
Since graduating in 2005, Barry has since saved the life of a time-travelling copper, driven a JCB, worked on board a spaceship aswell as flown it in a hyperspace-race and won! He has also toured Spain with a theatre company.
